President (vote for 1)
- Aiden Perkins. Aiden is in his 3rd year, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. His campus involvements include: MSUN Student Ambassador, ASMSUN Senate (currently the Business Manager and previously a Senator) Resident Assistant, Dungeon & Dragons Club, Sweet Grass Society, and Business Club.

Vice President (vote for 1)
- Andrew (AJ) Harris. AJ is in his 2nd year, pursing bachelor's degrees in Diesel Field Maintenance and Diesel Trades Management. His campus involvements include: ASMSUN Senate (currently the Vice President, previously a Senator), Residence Hall Association, Dungeons & Dragons Club, MSUN Student Ambassador, member of the Lights Wrestling team, and multiple on-campus jobs. He noted that as the VP he hopes to "get IOC more involved throughout the year, rather than just some very specific events".

Business Manager (vote for 1)
- Ashton Grover. Ashton is in his 3rd year, pursing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. His campus involvements include: ASMSUN Senate (currently a Senator) and a member of the Lights Football team (2 years). Ashton has interned with State Farm and Scharfe, Kato & Co. (CPA firm) and hopes to bring his experience to this position if elected. He stated, "I'm interested in this position because I feel I have a basic skillset that matches the duties of this position, and I'm always seeking new ways to expand this skillset and learn. I wish to help MSU-Northern become a destination that students want to come to and stay during their academic journey. This position can also help me apply my skillset to be able to help all MSUN students".

Administrative Assistant (vote for 1)
- Kaiya Doney. Kaiya is in her 2nd year at MSUN, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Nursing. Her campus involvements include: ASMSUN Senate (currently the Administrative Assistant and previously a Senator), ASMSUN Senator, Resident Assistant, and Nursing Club. She stated, "My interest in the Administrative Assistant position for ASMSUN comes from a strong desire to contribute to student success and make sure our student government runs efficiently. I believe this role is more than just keeping records and organizing meetings—it's about being a key part of the team that ensures student voices are heard and that important decisions are well-documented."

At-Large Senator (vote for 6)
- Allec Knapton. Allec is in his 3rd year, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Operations Technology. His campus involvements include being a member of the Lights Football team. He noted that he has "been in leadership positions before where details matter". He stated that he is interested in this position because he is "another person with a mind full of knowledge".
- Deserae Toombs. Deserae is in her 1st year, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Physical Education. Her campus involvements include ASMSUN Senate (currently a Senator and the student representative on the Student Engagement Committee), MSUN Student Ambassador, a member of the MSUN Cross Country team and Track team and is a student employee with the MSUN Alumni Foundation. She was active in student government in high school as well. She stated, "I hope to bring new and fun ideas for things that students can participate in".
- Garret Bliss. Garret is in his 2nd year, pursuing a degree in Electrical Technology. His campus involvements include ASMSUN Senate (Senator, 2 terms). He noted that he has "been in this position before and hopes to make the campus better".
- Jonathan Wamsley. Jonathan is in his 2nd year, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education: IT 5-12. His campus involvements include SSS Peer Tutor in Math and Drafting, Chi Alpha (Student Leader, Treasurer, and event facilitator for Live action Clue), Dungeons & Dragons Club: active participant and frequently helps plan events. In the community, he is involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Hi-Line and has been active in clubs throughout High School in leadership roles. (Club liaison for yfc:campus life, parliamentarian and reporter for SkillsUSA). He stated, "I am interested in partnering with other clubs on campus to bring more student engagement in events. I am also interested in encouraging change in the status quo to ensure that students are represented and their interests are furthered on campus".
- Sterling Shelton. Sterling is in his second year pursing bachelor's degrees in Diesel Technology Equipment Management and Automotive Technology. His campus involvements include ASMSUN Senate (currently a Senator), SkillsUSA - where he helps run the MSUN athletic concessions, and he has also assisted with TekNoXpo. In addition, he works two part time jobs during the school year, one as an ASE certified Mechanic at Nate's Gona' Fix it and Northern Montana Care Center in Nutritional Service (past 5 years). He is interested in this position to "be involved on campus and serve as a voice for my peers for current events, activities, and more. Overall, I want to get other students involved on campus and in school".
- Tabitha VanDalen. Tabitha is in her first year pursuing Welding. Her campus involvements include ASMSUN Student Senate (currently a Senator and various committees). She has helped plan and organize ASMSUN events on campus. In high school, she was involved in several clubs including 4-H and Speech and Debate Club. She noted, "I would like to be a senator because I like to be involved around campus and want to have a good reputation as someone who wants to help their college".

FALL ELECTIONS
Online applications for ASMSUN Student Senate will open the first day of classes (Wednesday August 20, 2025) and are due by NOON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 at NOON. A link to the application will be posted in August.
The following positions are elected in fall elections:
- First-Year Senator (3 positions) First-year positions, formerly Freshmen Senators, are open to students currently enrolled at MSU-Northern who have completed 30 or less credits.
- At-Large Senator (2 positions) At-Large positions are open to any student currently enrolled at MSU-Northern.
Applications will be reviewed to ensure student applicants are eligible to run for office:
- Applicants must be current students who have paid the student activity fee;
- Applicants must plan to be enrolled at MSUN during the 25-26 school year;
- In accordance with the constitution, ASMSUN Senate members must maintain a 2.50 minimum cumulative GPA throughout their term of office.
The Dean of Students office will review applications prior to the election to ensure students are in good standing with the University (this pertains to student conduct, not holds with the business office, financial aid or academic standing).
Fall Senate and Homecoming elections are scheduled to run Monday September 15 - Friday September 19, 2025. The date will be extended if 8% of the eligible student body has not cast their vote.
SPRING ELECTIONS
The following positions are elected in spring elections:

- Senator At-Large (6 positions) At-Large positions are open to any student currently enrolled at MSU-Northern who meets the eligibility requirements below.
