SENATE

Bridger Beach

President

Bridger was re-elected as the Student Body President of ASMSUN for the 24-25 academic year. He has also served as the ASMSUN Business Manager. Bridger has worked in Residential Education since 2021 and is currently the Resident Director of MacKenzie Hall. He has been a member of Northern’s Cross Country team and a 2024 Orientation Leader. Originally from Kalispell, MT, this is his 5th year at Northern, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology and a minor in Business Technology. Bridger is a vehicle enthusiast, enjoys outdoor activities such as downhill skiing and fishing, is an avid cat owner, and an internal combustion (and electric) enthusiast. He plans to own his own business and work for himself in the automotive industry specializing in computer programming and electrical/networking/general diagnostics. As the Student Body President, he hopes to continue to work with an amazing team to build ASMSUN into the “Voice of the Students” it was designed to be.

AJ Harris

AJ was elected the 2024-2025 ASMSUN Vice President after serving one term as a First-Year Senator. He is the Chair of the Inter-Organizational Council (IOC). Originally from Edwardsburg, Michigan, AJ is in his second year at Northern pursuing a bachelor's degree in Diesel Technology/Field Maintenance and Trades Management. He is a member of the Lights Wrestling team, a Resident Assistant in Morgan Hall, a 2024 Orientation Leader, and a member of the DnD Club. AJ can usually be found on campus working on physical fitness.

Aiden Perkins

Business Manager

Aiden was elected the ASMSUN Business Manager for the 2024-2025 academic year, after serving one term as a Senator At-Large. He is in his second year as a Resident Assistant in MacKenzie Hall and a Northern Ambassador. Previously, he was a 2024 Orientation Leader and a member of the Northern Lights football team. Aiden is in his third year of studies pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and is originally from Culbertson, MT. 

Kaiya Doney

Administrative Assistant

Kaiya was elected the Administrative Assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year. She was appointed to a Senator At-Large position last fall and served as the IOC Representative for the Nursing Club. She is currently a Resident Assistant in MacKenzie Hall and was a 2024 Orientation Leader. Originally from Columbus, MT, Kaiya is in her second year of Nursing courses after transferring from MSU-Billings in the fall of 2023. Her passion for helping people has led to her academic pursuits, as well as, her involvement on campus. 

Garret Bliss

Senator At-Large (Spring)
Garret was elected to a Senator At-Large position in the spring of 2024 after being appointed to senate in the fall of 2023 as a First-Year Senator. Originally from Sand Springs, MT, he is in his second year of studies in Electrical Technology and will earn an Associate's of Applied Science degree. He enjoys hunting and fishing and plans on returning to his family's ranch after graduation.

Hunter Velk

Senator At-Large (Spring)
Hunter was elected to a third term as Senator At-Large in the 2024 spring elections; he also served as a First-Year Senator during the 21-22 academic year. He is a native of Havre and is pursuing an associate's degree in Agricultural Mechanics Technology and a bachelor's degree in Diesel Technology. On campus, Hunter is also involved in SkillsUSA. Upon the completion of his degree, he plans to work on a farm or become a diesel mechanic.

Jordan Ketcham

Senator At-Large (Spring)
Jordan was elected to a third term as Senator At-Large in the 2024spring elections; during the 21-22 academic year, she also served as a First-Year Senator. Originally from Great Falls, MT she plans to graduate with a certificate in Welding Technology, and an AAS in Plumbing/Pipefitting and Agricultural Mechanics Technology. Jordan is involved in SkillsUSA and plans to work to take over the family business after graduation.

Jordan Kittleson

Senator At-Large (Fall)
Jordan was appointed Senator-At-Large in the fall of 2023 and previously served as a First-Year Senator. Originally from Thief River Falls, MN, he came to Havre to pursue a degree in Plumbing Technology. Jordan is currently the Assistant Resident Director in Morgan Hall and was a Resident Assistant in MacKenzie Hall last year.
