Visits are the best way to see what life is like at Northern.
We offer campus visits weekdays (Monday through Friday) at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
To register for your visit, please select either Morning or Afternoon to access the online form. Select a date from the available list and provide your personal contact information so our office may confirm your visit and send reminders as the date approaches. If you need to make any changes please reply to the confirmation email, email us directly at admissions@msun.edu or call our office.

Campus Tour
Our campus tours leave daily at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. During the academic year, our tours are led by current students, our Northern Ambassadors. During the tour, you will see all of our academic buildings and see a sample room in one of our residence halls.
Meet Faculty
When you request a visit, you will specify a major of interest. As we schedule your visit, we will arrange for you to meet with a faculty member in that major (depending on availability). Our faculty are able to discuss curriculum and career outcomes, as well as any other questions you might have.
Chat with Financial Aid
At MSU-Northern, financial success is our priority. During your visit, you will sit down with financial aid to discuss scholarships, FAFSA, grants, loans, and more. You will get a helpful budgeting workbook to start your road to managing money.
Learn about Admissions Process
During your visit, you will meet with an admissions counselor that will answer any questions and walk you through the admissions process.
TekNoXpo & ShowCASE
Stay tuned for updates on MSUN's TekNoXpo & ShowCASE! This hands-on event is host to over 400 high school students grades 9-12. We introduce students to career exploration and Northern's academic offerings. Check back for the exact date of this October event - we look forward to another exciting showcase!
Northern Ambassadors
Not only do our Ambassadors give campus tours, they represent Northern at a variety of campus events! The Northern Ambassador team works in conjunction with the Admissions Office and the Chancellor to support campus events. They give tours to prospective students and also represent Northern by doing service in the community. You can learn more about what they do here. Group Tours
Northern offers dedicated tours for high schools, educational programs, community-based organizations, or extra curricular groups. To schedule a customized group tour, please call 406.265.3704 to begin scheduling the visit.
