The easiest and recommended way to work remotely and have access to everything you usually use is to use the VPN and connect to your office desktop computer.
How to access your email from off-campus
You have several options for accessing your email:
- Use any web browser to access your email by logging in to Outlook on Microsoft 365. Use your NetID and password to login.
- You can use the Microsoft Outlook application. Outlook should already be installed on your university-owned machine
- You can add your email on your phone by Installing the Microsoft Outlook app.

- You can use the VPN and log into your work desktop station.
Review the types of data, where it can be stored, and don't store MSUN data on your personal computer or in personal storage locations such as Google Drive, Box, Dropbox
